Cryptid's Resources
Welcome to my resource page, where you'll hopefully find something helpful or interesting! Here I will list a ton of links related to my interests in web coding, toy collecting, art, minecraft, and more. I'll also just have a section of cool stuff I think people should check out.
HTML, CSS, and Web-Coding Resources
- Sadgrl.Online -- Classic indie web resource. Tons of infomation on how to make your site, free to use backgrounds, independent internet, bypassing ads, and more.
- Sadgrl's Layout Builder -- This deserved it's own spot. This is an extremely simple easy to use and customizable webpage layout builder, and is hugely responsible for getting this site started!
- W3Schools -- Another classic resource for all things web development, it has tons of tutorials for anything you'll ever need for pretty much any web coding language. I keep this open whenever I code just in case.
- FreeCodeCamp -- Simple and easy to follow web coding courses! Personally, these courses are what made HTML and especially CSS finally click in my brain, so if you're feeling lost I very much reccomend it!
- HTML Cheat Sheet -- Simple page FULL of html tags and attributes, very helpful to keep open while coding! Also includes cheat sheets for CSS, Javascript, and more.
- CodePen -- Online code editor with a live preview.
- GifCities -- Internet Archive's collection of hundreds of geocities gifs! Its a great resource for old web graphics, and its also just fun to search through.
- TextureTown -- Thousands of textures for web-coding and 3D projects.
Toy, Fashion Doll, and Figure Resources
- Dollect.net -- An interactive fashion doll database! It aims to archive every doll and as much infomation as possible. You can also make an account to log your collections, wishlists, and interact with other enthusiasts.
- Pony Preservation Project -- Restoration infomation for My Little Pony toys, but much of this advice can be used to clean and care for other toys too. Highly recommended if you thrift or buy secondhand toys!
- Darling Dollz Beginner's Guide to Doll Collecting -- A helpful all-in-one video for any current or aspiring doll collectors. Has useful links in the description as well.
- A Thousand Splendid Dolls Doll Care Tips -- Playlist of a ton of doll repair and care videos. Anything from washing doll clothes, safely removing mold or odor, hair styling, and more. Also highly recommended if you thrift or buy any dolls secondhand!
- Suruga-ya -- Japanese used collectible retailer that ships internationally, and they often offer free shipping events. Not sponsored I just think its a great resource for anime merch and Japanese toys for internation fans, and without it I wouldn't have any of my Liccas or Precure figures!
Cool stuff I think is neat ;3
- Oscilloscope Music -- I honestly don't know how to explain this one, I just think it sounds fucking rad.
- Early 3D Animation 1970-1990s Playlist -- Very early CGI and computer animation tests and shorts. Really interesting to watch!
- Pokemon The Card Game Scans -- Blog of Pokemon card artwork scans! My favorites are the small model photography by Yuka Morii.
